NEVER-ENDING CYCLE
“Never Ending Cycle" is a dynamic partner project designed to acknowledge the mundane and often indifferent task of doing laundry. The project's primary objective was to use not only washing machines as a medium but also allow the project to speak to the environment it finds itself in.
Located near the University of Tennessee, Knoxville campus, Volunteer Coin Laundry attracts college students who not only are stressed out with their studies but also have to take care of chores like laundry. This shaving cream typographic installation validates college students and their feelings towards laundry and the never-ending cycle it becomes, while also appreciating a public environment in which laundry takes place.
